Boasting all DIAMOX characteristics, DIAMOX+ provides for index matched Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coatings.
In comparison to standard ITO coatings, DIAMOX+ index matched ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coatings offer significantly improved rates of light transmission.
DIAMOX+ coatings are multi-layer coatings of metal oxides and quartz. The quartz layer’s thickness is carefully controlled in order to enhance the transmission and suppress unwanted reflection. DIAMOX+ can be deposited onto acrylic, polycarbonate and glass substrates. Currently available sheet sizes range up to a maximum of 1000 mm x 1000 mm.
Typical transmission curves (spectral) for 15 ohms/sq Standard Diamox and Diamox+ Index Matched ITO coatings are provided in the data sheet.
Typical peak light transmissions for 20 ohms/sq polycarbonate and glass substrates coated on one side are 84% and 92% (525 to 600 nm wavelength range).
Subjection (MIL STD 48497) of Diamox ITO coatings to humidity cycling; salt spray and thermal cycling have provided no evidence of sheet resistance reduction; reduction of adhesion or optical degradation within the ITO coating.
RFI/EMI Shielding Effectiveness
At 1MH and 1GH and using MIL-STD-215 test methods, Diamox ITO coatings offer shielding effectiveness of up to 58db and 26db respectively.
